New Glasgow art print & gifts

Queens Park Viewpoint

One month ago today LyndaZed Art was born and what better way to celebrate the occasion, than with the addition of artwork of my home city to my product collection.

Queens Park Viewpoint is a popular spot to take in the vista of the city of Glasgow.  It is enjoyed by Glaswegians and visitors alike and our four-legged family members love it too.  This painting was presented as a challenge to me last year as a commission for a family member.  Specific landmarks were requested to be included and an orange hue to tie in with the decor of where the painting would hang was a strong preference.

If you know the viewpoint, in the height of our Scottish summer some of the key landmarks such as the Armadillo building are obscured from the view as the trees are in full bloom.  Therefore a clear crisp winter's day was the ideal time to capture the scene and adding the personal touch of the figure in the forefront, exceeded the expectations of the end result.

I guess it was this painting that finally persuaded me that I could have a small business in sharing my artwork wider than the friends and family who had been gifted paintings from me.  From this I embarked on another journey of discovery and taught myself with the aid of YouTube contributors, on how to take my collection of paintings and transfer them onto every day gifts.

I hope you like the new additions of Queens Park Viewpoint giclée wall art prints.  Mini versions of this Glasgow art can also be purchased in the form of coasters, heart handled mugs and art tote bags with free UK shipping.
